Excellent cpu fan
Great product. Was used on ASUSA8N32-SLi Deluxe motherboard with Athlon x2 4800+ CPU installed. Runs quietly, with average temp of 45-50 Celsius. Rig also has 2x bfg 7900 GT OC in SLI setup.

Works great
Luckily I read other reviews prior to purchase. Unit is bigger than it looks. Mine had bracket to install on back of motherboard to support the weight, so waited to put motherboard in until the cooler was in. I am using mine in a P4 Dual Core 2.8GHz on Intel motherboard setup with Cooler Master case. It is quiet, cools great and I recommend it.

night and day difference
Product is very silent compared to the stock intel cpu fan (socket 775, running 3.4ghz). The only reason I did not rate this 5 stars is due to the fact that the product packaging came in damaged, not due to shipping; more like a refurbished-type product or class-B. I paid for a new item and I deserve to be shipped a class-A product. This is not the first time this has happened. At one time, I purchased a software that was already opened. Amazon should be more careful on the products that they ship out to their loyal customers. The only reason why I didn’t return this is because I was dying to have a silent P.C.

Good Price from reliable Co
Used one for mid range P4 chip with a 10 degree drop from stock heatsink, small value-case w/modified ventilation. Another keeps a Celeron 2.9 chip in the mid-twenties centigrade, med-tower w/modified ventilation. Used Artic Silver 5. Both are quiet when compaired to stock fans. Amazon delivered free w/o product damage while another well known Co delivered product w/ship chrg and damaged. The heatsink is worth only what was paid at Amazon which was less than thier competitors. Amazon should offer a larger variety of computer parts as this purchase was a good deal.

Much better then Intel Stock Heatsink
While playing games my P4 stock heatsink would rev up to full speed and the processor temperature would be 60+ C. After installing this heatsink my idle went down to 30C and at load 50C. Plus it is SUPER quiet. The only downfall is that because it is so heavy, you need to install a bracket (included) on the bottom of the motherboard for support. For me this meant I had to disconnect almost everything from the motherboard and take it out to install the bottom bracket. Because of the additional pain of setup 4/5 stars.
