CPU cooling has become a very serious business as there is little room for sub standard performance. With such hot CPUs being produced by both AMD and Intel, the demand for high performance heatsinks has greatly increased. The average user is now turning to high-end air cooled heatsinks, where as the overclocks are heading straight for the water cooling kits. In fact, building the latest and greatest computer these days is almost becoming more hassle than it is worth. When taking into account how much power todays high-end computers require and how much heat they output, building a more sedate well rounded computer is sometimes a better option.
