2006 BleedinEdge Heatsink Roundup Part 2
Product AeroCool XfirePublisher BleedinEdge

Description
In this second segment of the 2006 BleedinEdge Heatsink Roundup, we’re going to have a look at a couple “big” performers. Both utilize a similar design with heatpipes supporting a large fin section above the base. In this feature we will show you how these heatsinks stack up to the others in our Roundup as well as show what these products are capable of with a little effort and/or expense.

The two products we have in the lab for this second segment are the ThermalTake Big Typhoon and the AeroCool Xfire. The Big Typhoon is billed as “The most powerful heatsink on the market” on their website, while AeroCool steers their advertising toward the 120mm LED fan included with the Xfire.
