Description
Thermaltake was founded in 1999 and quickly developed the worlds first turbine cooler Golden Orb for the Intel Pentium, this cooler was met with great acclaim by the gaming and overclocking community which up until that point had been an area only PC enthusiast would have ventured. Thermaltake than made another PC break through with the Xaser series or enclosures, this was a massive step from the beige ugliness that dominated the market for an age and one that sparked a massive market that is now flourishing.
They did not stop their though as the release of the Purepower line of PSU’s was again met with acclaim and started Thermaltakes PSU department. Thermaltake have since moved into the water-cooling market and have continued to produce CPU & GFX coolers, Enclosures and power supplies units plus and range of other products which would be too long to list.
Hello all, Today I will be looking at Thermaltakes typhoon mini (value pack version), now the difference between the value pack and the normal mini package is the value fan comes with two small fans with a mounting system to enable the user to cool there chipset or ram. I will not go into different options about it, I will leave that for later in the review. However, on the principle of the idea, it should be good especially with a lot of motherboards now using heatpipes, this cooler could cool them as well. Let us find out more shall we.
