April’s video game sales figures are out and, to no one’s surprise, GTA IV topped the charts even though the game had only been out for a mere 5 days last month.



The Xbox 360 version of GTA IV sold 1.85 million copies, according to market tracking firm The NPD Group. The Sony PlayStation 3 version sold 1 million copies, taking the month’s No. 3 spot. Drifting into second was Nintendo’s Mario Kart Wii, selling 1.12 million copies.
