If there is one thing you can count on in the general field of computer components, it’s that at any give moment at least one company out there has yet another CPU cooler to launch into the market. You would think by this point that we have seen it all, but the designs continue to change to not only meet the basic demands of today’s modern processors, but also to meet the unique requirements of 3D gamers, extreme overclockers, HTPC enthusiasts, and anyone else looking for something in particular for their computer system.
One of the companies you can count on to be on the cutting edge of CPU cooler design is Scythe. Scythe Co. Ltd. was launched in Japan back in 2002 as a distributor and manufacturer of computing components for the do-it-yourself enthusiast. In addition to an impressive line-up of CPU and VGA coolers from both the Scythe and Arctic Cooling brand names, they produce computer cases, power supplies, and other related accessories.
