A while ago a former staff member reviewed the Noctua NH-U9 cooler. The cooler responded well to his bench and test. After reading and editing the article I wish I had been the one to review it because of the excellent performance it produced. At the same time Noctua also released the NH-U12. Major differences were size and a small performance gain based on other sites’ testing. Well, this time I will not miss out as Noctua has sent us their newest cooler.

The Noctua NH-U12F is an awesome cooler when it comes to size and weight. Weighing in at 790g, the U12F differs from the older U12 in two areas, one is weight and the second is the U12F comes with Noctua’s new NF-12 120mm cooling fan. We will see how the Noctua monster stand up to the two baddest coolers we have tested here at Pro-Clockers.
