Thermalright SI-120 Heatsink
Product Thermalright SI-120Publisher OverClock Intelligence Agency

Description
Today I will be taking a look at the new SI-120, an aluminum / copper hybrid design incorporating heatpipes much like the XP-120. Unlike the XP, the finned portion of the heatsink is not directly tied to the base and relys solely on the heatpipes to convey heat away from the CPU core. This is a trend that Thermalright started with their SI-97 which has been successful in Socket A cooling. With the addition of one extra heatpipe and a much larger surface area which can accomodate 120mm fans, the SI-120 looks to be a serious cooling competitor.
