Scythe Andy Samurai Master CPU Cooler
Product Scythe Andy Samurai MasterPublisher ProClockers.com

Description
I don’t think there are too many areas in the PC world that are growing faster than the cooling area. The only thing that comes to mind is maybe motherboards and memory. It seems that every time you open your favorite website, you will see another article on a new cooler for ’X’ company. There are many companies that have been around for a while and are still making some great coolers, like Thermalright, Thermaltake and others. And then there are some newer companies that are getting into the mix as well like Antazone, Noctua and some others. All make great coolers. Today we will take a look at a new one from one of my favorite cooling companies, Scythe.

The Andy Samurai Master has an unusual name and a new shape uncommon to fans of Scythe. Honestly, I have no idea where they got the name for. The only thing I will say is this cooler is a combination of West meets East. I guess the Andy is the “West” and the Samurai is the “East”. That’s all I can gather from it. The shape is a two tier design linked by six nickel covered copper heat pipes. The size and design of it looks to be able to perform really well. it also shares some features of another Scythe cooler, the Infinity. Does it cool as well as the Infinity? Let us run it through some tests and find out.
